Porterville CA senior Jorge Sanchez won the Division 4 boys title at the Central Section Championships, covering the 5-kilometer layout in 16:42.66 at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Sanchez, competing in his first cross country, helped the Panthers secure the team title by a 76-93 margin over Chowchilla.
